Marlene Haws


Marlene joined the board in June 2013.  She is active in the local Kiwanis Chapter, currently serving as its President. She works as a real estate agent.

David Deutscher


David has lived in Contra Costa County for over 60 years.  He is a commercial real estate broker, property manager and real estate investor.  He is the owner and President of the David Deutscher Company.  David has been active in community service for over 20 years.  He previously served on the board of the San Ramon Valley YMCA and is an active Rotarian as a member of the Pleasant Hill Chapter.  He brings a wealth of business and real estate expertise to the board.  He joined the board in June 2012. 

David lives in Lafayette. 

Rhea Bennett

Rhea Bennett 


Rhea is a native of Contra Costa and is a former teacher and bookseller.  She has a BA from Gonzaga University in Spokane and has done graduate work at University of San Francisco. She has been involved with Loaves and Fishes as a volunteer for over 12 years and on the Board since 2009.  She is active in Just Faith, SJV Women"s Board and SJV Bereavement Hospitality and Grief Support. 

Rhea lives in Walnut Creek.


Stephen Hitchcock



Stephen is a Region Bank Manager and Senior Vice President for Wells Fargo Bank.  He has been with Wells Fargo since 2009 and has worked in financial services for over 20 years in the Bay Area.  Holding a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis, he is active in the community serving on the boards of Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa, the East Bay Leadership Council and the California Independent Film Festival.

Stephen lives in San Ramon with his wife and three children.



Karen Introcaso

Board Chair/Presdient 

Karen joined the board in May 2013.  Karen is a financial management professional with over 30 years of experience in a wide variety of roles with the credit union industry.  She hails from Florida but has been in California for almost 20 years.  She is an avid golfer and will be sharing her expertise in organizing golf tournament with Loaves & Fishes in the coming years. She came to the board after reading about our dining room in Antioch and the positive impact it has on that community's citizens.  

She lives in Clayton.


Geoff Disch


Geoffrey is the owner of Green Escrow Services located in Pleasanton , CA and serving the northern California area.   Mr Disch has been a supporter of Loaves and Fishes through his sponsoring and organizing an annual golf tournament since 2013.  He resides in Danville with his wife Julie. He is a member of the San Ramon Rotarty club serving as an officer.  He joined the Board in July 2016.


Brian Siebold


Brian is Vice President Senior Relationship Manager of BAC Community Bank. He has work with non-profits focusing on work force development programs.  He currently sets on the board of Opportunity Junction, a Loaves and Fishes site partner. 

Brian works and lives in Antioch with his wife and children.  




Steve Wallace

Board Vice President

Steve is the owner of JS Wallace Group Inc., a Pleasant Hill based construction company.  He has been in the construction business for over 20 years and works primarily on commercial real estate developments.  He is a member of the Pleasant Hill Rotary and has served on several non profit boards over the years.  He was construction contractor behind the Martinez episode of Extreme Makeover in 2005. He joined the board in October 2015

He and his wife Lise live in Pleasant Hill. 


Tammy Gard


 Tammy joined the Board in Fall 2017, works for Shell Martinez Refinery in the inspection department handling the inspection budget, scheduling, record's compliance and other administrative tasks.  She is also the department community service organizer, coordinating several projects each year. She coordinated the construction and installation of the beautiful LFCC Community Garden at the Martinez Dining Room.

Tammy loves to travel, golf, and spend time with her family.  She and her husband live in Walnut Creek and have two grown sons.
