Food Recovery Delivery Volunteers
We currently need volunteers who are available on weekday mornings to pickup grocery donations from local grocery stores, farms and farmers markets.
This opportunity involves lifting up to 30+ lbs., loading and unloading boxes. Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license and insurance, a truck, or vehicle that would hold a large load.
We currently need food recovery pick up on:
- Friday pickup at Safeway to be delivered to the Martinez dining room
- Monday pickup at Safeway to be delivered to the Martinez dining room
- Monday pickup at Safeway to be delivered to the Central kitchen in Pittsburg
